Up before sunrise....

Tommy joined Koji and I about 3am this morning (we'd been up for an hour already) and none of us could get back to sleep!!    We left the hotel about 0730 in the dark looking for pancakes for breakfast.  A waffle bar up on Bayswater Road was good enough - we indulged in Banofee waffles, fruit waffles, nutella and strawberry waffles and maple syrup & cream waffles - we were waffled out.  All washed down with our 4 hourly hot chocolate.

We jumped on the tube up to Camden Markets and wandered around the old market villages up there for the morning.....

Lunch was squashed into a tiny little Italian cafe up in Camden Town.

By this stage the kids where whinging and whining about anything and everything and we realised with no sleep we couldn't keep them moving much longer.  Tom was 'going to die' but perked up remarkably when i mentioned visiting M&M World in Leicester Square.  I had no intention of taking him there today but proved my point - he was not happy.

We headed back to the hotel and all had 1.5 hours sleep - timed perfectly so we could make a few hours at the massive Westfield over in Shepherds Bush.    It's an awesome shopping centre with every high street shop you could want but indoors which is awesome in this weather - but the week before Christmas on a Sunday afternoon in London - was a bloody stupid idea and we all wanted to punch each other and everyone around us within minutes of entering.

We grabbed a few essentials and the kids hit the Lego shop with their Christmas money.

The idea of clothes shopping in winter is just ridiculous - it takes 10 minutes to get every layer off and then another 10 minutes to get it all back on again.  Stupid idea.

Another hot chocolate and cab home and the boys are now running around the room in their thermal under ware (very funny sight as they are not so buff and there's a few baggy bits there!!!)

About to head out to the local pub for dinner shortly and then attempt to sleep through tonight.
